Review by hotel critic
During my recent gourmet getaway at Penzion Baltazar, I found myself pleasantly surprised by the culinary experience on offer. As a historian with a keen eye for architectural details, I appreciated the beautifully renovated historic building that housed the pension. The proximity to several local culinary hotspots like Sojka & Spol and Restaurace U Obriho Soudku made dining options abundant and varied, adding a touch of gastronomic delight to my stay. One evening, feeling intrigued by local flavors, I decided to dine at the nearby Tanzberg Restaurant, just a short walk away. The ambiance was charming, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The menu featured a delightful fusion of traditional Czech dishes with modern twists, showcasing the region's culinary heritage in a contemporary light. Each dish was impeccably presented, and the flavors were a true reflection of the chef's expertise. The balance of comfort, history, and gastronomy made my stay truly unforgettable.
